My second novel, a murder mystery, centres around Nicole Victoria Harris, 25 year old sales assistant, who receives a complimentary pass to the new night club in town, called 'Wishes'. She meets her chauffuer, Thomas, a 50+ year old man, with whom she feels a strange affinity.
She also meets Sandi, a worker at the club, who explains the unique glasses used in the virtual reality rooms of the club, and also Jack, in the supply room. After explaining the use of the glasses to Nicole, Sandi is called away and Nicole does not see here again that evening.
There is a body discovered the next morning, and Nicole has serious concerns so she contacts the Police. She is then drawn into a trail of mystery and intrique, involving Thomas, his friends the proprietors of a restaurant, Juliana and Bernardo, and the investigating Detective, Daniel Sztowski.
The twin owners of the night club, David and Desmond Skyes, electrical and computer maestros,, have a deep dark past which may soon come to light following Police involvment at their office building.
Nicole also has a personal task, one which may bring tears - will they be tears of happiness?
What secrets does Thomas hide? Is he just more than a chauffeur?
